okay...i finished mark's hat...however...now he wants it for his birthday instead...August 21st...i'm going to have to think of something else for his x.mas present...i knitted him a scarf years ago which he lost so i think that i'll knit him up another...now onto my next project...maybe i'll knit up ben's hat then that will be out of the way...or maybe i'll finish some socks...who knows???

151 Days...13 Hours...and 37 Minutes

last week thursday i received mum's yarn for her christmas present in a form of a nice cake...thanks to ashabee almost yummy enough to eat...i always notice her wearing very neutral colors so i figured this would be pretty...the other picture is of marks hat...yeah buddy...almost done.

so i had almost completed mark's x.mas hat and noticed i messed up...i've pulled it apart and i'm going to start it all over again...i'm thinking that if i have enough yarn left over i'll make ben a matching one...they wore matching outfits as children why not have something that matches as adults...hehehe...

i've also sent my mum out to her local yarn shop in blairsville, ga to find some sock yarn...she would like me to knit her up a pair especially after seeing dani's...i figure she'll enjoy them more if she picks out the color...plus it'll get her out of the house...

i've been lazy in writing...i guess there just hasn't been much to write about...so...with that said...until...

someone will soon have mail...

i knitted kelly a coffee cozie for her starbucks hot coco...only it's been sitting in my kitchen for about 2 months...much use it's been receiving.
so...yesterday i decided to recycle a starbucks bag into an envelope...sometime within the next few day's she'll have mail :)

i got mark's yarn in the mail yesterday and the photo doesn't do it any justice...i think he's going to love the hat i'm going to knit him up...however i'm told that i'm not allowed to start it until i finish knitting up my mother inlaw's socks...so with that said i'll keep on knitting...

but who's counting?

so i've decided that everyone this year will be getting something handmade...so i've been on the net looking/ordering yarns so that i can get started...saving patterns...i have lots of ideas...and i'm going to try to keep on top of things...i have 162 days...but then again...who's counting?
