yeaaaah...cool tricks...cool tricks...

okay i took some new pics yesterday after cleaning up the porch...this is dad's reversible cable scarf...i really don't want to give it up...but being that it's for x.mas and all...it's knitting up really quick...i'm only knitting it up between projects...also this morning i cast on for some socks for my little man dami...using only the left over yarn from dani's socks...hopefully i'll finish those tonight...

so i've been telling ricky for a couple of months now that i want one of these bad boys...and he looks at me like i'm on crack...he's always showing me other scooters trying to change my mind...but it's not working...why doesn't he get it...or maybe he finally has...being that he's actually inquiring about where to purchase one and what common problems you usually have with them...i love it...a scooter...what more do i have to say...who wouldn't want this fine machine...

122 Days...9 Hours...and 2 Minutes...

so i completed one of mum's x.mas presents yesterday...the cherry garcia neck tube ...it knitted up quick...i hope that she'll like it...the boys aren't too crazy about it...but who cares it isn't for them...they don't have to worry about wearing it...i talked to mark today and he finally got his hat...he told me that he loves it...i'm so stoked about that...now on to my next project...

being lazy...

i think it's the weather that's making me soooo...lazy...i love the rain...however...i'm over tropical storm fay...i'm going stir crazy staying in the house...and i don't feel like venturing out to the mall...i got some new yarn in over the past few weeks...and i completed dani's socks...however dani decided to leave them lying around and fat cat got a hold of them..she only seems to get into the good yarn...nooo...not the cheap shit...

i'm so proud of myself...i'm sticking to finishing up my wip's/works in progress...before starting anything else...dani's socks are almost done and i've cast on to finish up rach's other sock...also dad's and mum's scarf yarn should be showing up in the mail any day now...i think that i'll be knitting that up in between other christmas projects...i'll be mailing out marks and ben's packages today...with that said...i'm off to the post office...

yes...your eyes are not playing tricks on you...i actually completed a pair of socks...cloe lee-anne gets to be the first lucky recipient...now all i have to do is finish making pairs to the single ones around here...maybe i'll finish those before i jump onto another knitting project...maybe being the key word...

wow...i'm an aunt again...

so...my little brother ben had a baby girl on July 30th...i had to steal his pictures off of facebook...hopefully he'll send me a few in the mail sometime soon...last night i was sitting and thinking...i should knit her up something quick so i found a cable sock pattern...however i don't know what happened i dropped one of the stitches in one of the cables and i was lost so i've ripped it out and started over this morning...i should have them both done by tonight and then i'll send them with my mum when she goes to visit him...i wish i lived closer...i would love to eat her up...
